Official notice to our patients and community
A website using our name is a fake.
The website at schambergerchiropractic.com was not created by our office and we have no connection to it. It copies our name, address and phone number to look legitimate.
That site is being used to take credit card payments and to file insurance claims in our name. We have reported it to the authorities and are working to have it taken down.
Please do not enter any personal, payment, or insurance information there. If you need us, call the office directly.
How to know it is really us
Our office works the same way it always has. Anyone doing the following in our name is not us.
We do not accept credit cards
We will never ask for your card number, whether online, by phone, by email or by text.
We do not bill insurance
Our office does not file insurance claims. A claim under our name on your insurance statement did not come from us.
We do not take payments online
This page is our only website. It has no payment forms, no sign-ins and nothing to fill out.
If you gave the fake site your information
Acting quickly limits the damage. These steps are worth taking even if you are not sure.

Call your card issuer
Use the number on the back of your card. Tell them the charge was fraudulent, dispute it, and ask for a replacement card.

Call your insurance company
Use the member services number on your insurance card. Report any claim made in our name and ask them to flag your account for fraud.

Report it
File a report with the Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud.ftc.gov and with the FBI's Internet Crime Complaint Center at ic3.gov.
